With solemn reverence, we commemorate Duane Weckwerth of Arlington, Minnesota, whose life came to an end on October 3, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Weckwerth and Else Weckwerth; his brothers-in-law, Gary Frauendienst and Raymond Frauendienst; and his son Lance.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mae Henke of Paul's Lutheran Church; his son Lonnie Weckwerth (Dana); his grandchildren, Andrew and Melinda (Leovigildo Ramos Gomes); his children, Zachary of LeSueur, MN, Leon (Jennifer), Charlotte, Parker of Mankato, MN, Landon (Johanna), Oliver and Evan of Arlington, MN.; his sisters, Lavonne Frauendienst and Phyllis Frauendienst; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Kachelmyer (John). He is also survived by four Godchildren, three nieces and a nephew, and many extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Peace Lutheran Church (514 Freedom Dr, Arlington, MN 55307). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Arlington Public Cemetery (401 Creekview Ln, Arlington, MN 55307).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the V.F.W Post 6031 in his honor or Veterans on the Water.
