As Wendy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Wendy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Wendy leaves behind.
She is survived by: her parents, Harvey Mace and Tammy Smith; her daughters, Jessa and Kenzie; and her siblings, John Phillips, Matthew Phillips, Beckey Thomas, Rachel Thornock and Ashley Hull. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and many friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Novak-Milliren VFW Post #4258 (600 1st Ave NW, Pine City, MN 55063).
