He is survived by: his fiancé Shannon Hippe of Kerkhoven; his sons, Blake Klaphake (Tiffany) of St. Joseph and Ethan Klaphake (Kayla) of DeGraff; his stepdaughters, Michaela Hippe of Glenwood, Mya LaHoud (Sean) of Glenwood, Julia Stewlow of Starbuck and Jessa Stewlow of Starbuck; his grandchildren, Waylon, Hayden and Everlee; and his sisters, Cindy Vander Weyst (Mark) of Little Falls and Christy Wielenberg (Duane) of St. Anthony. He is also survived by ses other relatives and many friends.
