He is survived by: his children, Rick Kohler of Audubon, MN, Jon Kohler (Gina) of Audubon, MN, Jeff Kohler (Sheri) of Audubon, MN, Paulette Rosing of Audubon, MN and Pam Hesteness (Otis) of Audubon, MN; his grandchildren, Jamie Jo, Nathan, Jamie Lynn, Kody, Britney, Dalton and Selah; and his son-in-law Brian Maloney. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the West Kjos Funeral Home Cremation Services (900 Summit Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Peter's Lutheran Church (19747 Co Hwy 6, Audubon, MN 56511). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
