It is with sadness that the passing of Gemma Lehua Carter in Aurora, Minnesota is shared. Gemma, born on December 3, 1938 in Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on September 29, 2026. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Carter Sr.; her parents, John Ezzo and Susan Ezzo; her siblings, John Ezzo Jr. and Barbara White; and her sons, John Carter and Eric Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Carter Jr. of Tucson, AZ, Stanley Carter (Michelle) of Burnsville, MN, Paul Carter of Colorado, Curtis Carter (Amy) of Denver, CO and Brenda Roue (Paul) of Aurora, MN; and her brother Marvideo Ezzo (Freda) of Hawaii. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great – Grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Legacy Church (5007 Hwy 100 Aurora, MN.). A wake will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
