She was predeceased by: her parents, Nestor Komppa and Senia Komppa (Burkman); her son Michael; her siblings, Gene, Andrew, Arve, Clifford, Larry, Donald, Florence, Annie Komppa, Hazel Schmitz and Ruth Carpenter; her brothers-in-law, Calvin Carpenter and Jack Schmitz; and her siblings' children, Chuck Komppa, David L. Brown, Jake Anderson, Craig Anderson, Gary Komppa (Travis Friesner) and Senia Munoz (Komppa).

She is survived by: her husband Bruce Levander; her children, Scott Levander (Becca) and Leigh Anne Steblay (Lee) of Biwabik; her grandchildren, Hunter, Cooper, Michaela Levander, Delaney and Devin Steblay; her brothers, Fred Komppa (Evelyn) of Hibbing and Gary Komppa of Colorado City, TX; and her siblings-in-law, Barry Levander of Cheyenne, WY, Jane Komppa of Paddock Township, MN and Rebecca Komppa of Sebeka, MN..

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (4096 CSAH 100, Aurora, MN 55705). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials are kindly preferred in lieu of flowers.
