She was predeceased by: her mother Neva Stevens (McAlister); her husband Lawrence Schewe; her father David Stevens; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Stevens, Wibur Stevens (Judy) and Murwin Stevens.

She is survived by: her brothers, Walter Stevens (Sara) and Edwin Stevens (Sharon). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Youth for Christ or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
