He is survived by: his children, Jeremie Meres (Kayla Kenworthy) of Blooming Prairie, Joshua Meres (Kelly) of Brownsdale and Jennifer Novak (Josh) of Blooming Prairie; his grandchildren, Brayden Meres, Mila, Owen Meres, Alexys and Tayler Novak; his sister Brenda Spangenberg (Dave) of Madison Lake, Minnesota; his nieces and nephews, Bob Ruble, Jim Ruble, Kelly Connelly (Jeff), Shelley Janning, Amy Rech (Dan), Dawn Donahue (John) and Joel Spangenberg (Jenni); and his pet Roxie.
