He was predeceased by: his parents, Quentin Goskesen and Bernice Goskesen; his sister Ann Cook; his father-in-law Dale Wiste; and his brothers-in-law, Raymond Wiste and Roger Wiste.
He is survived by: his wife Renae Goskesen; his children, Elizabeth Christensen (Kendall) of Alden and Logan Goskesen (Alicia) of Austin; his grandchildren, Michael, Vernon, Lauren, Sheila, Alaina Christensen, Lakyn and Clara Goskesen; his in-laws, Joan and Wayne Skov of Lyle; his siblings, Nada Kilgore (Daryl), Karen Bell, Lyle Goskesen (Laraine) and Roger Goskesen (Peggy); and his in-laws, Rhonda DeVries (John) and Lilly Wiste.
