He is survived by : his siblings, Steve Schmidt of Park Rapids, Helen Lee (Richard) of Farmington, Fred Schmidt (Pixie) of Austin and Vicky Helland of Pheonix, Arizonia; and his nieces and nephews, Shannon Schmidt, Kristen Schmidt, Jeff Lee (Julie), John Lee (Amy), Jennifer Douglas (Jason), Kelly Janning, Robyn Bickler (Ryan), Ryan Schmidt, Eric Helland (Jennifer) and Tracey Carlisle.
