He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Barnes and Grace Barnes (Mahachek); his wife F. Louise Bateman; his brother Gordon; and his sister-in-law Marie.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Rector (Dan) of Rochester, MN and Brian Barnes (Kathy) of Woodstock, IL; and his grandchildren, Emma, Adam Rector, Nathan, Hannah and Lydia Barnes. He is also survived by cousin; and nephews and nieces.
Memorial donations can be made online to the Kiwanis Possibility Project or through the family. No flowers/plants, please.
