We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2024, at the age of 88, Donald Roger Chapek of Austin, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Chapek and Theresa Chapek (Svejkovsky); his children-in-law, Lisa Chapek and Michael Turner; and his siblings, Alice, Elmer, Violet and Lillian.

He is survived by : his wife Arlene Chapek; his children, Randy Chapek, Douglas Chapek, Shawna Turner (Chris Jackson), John Chapek (Sandy) and Ann Chapek; his grandchildren, Carissa, Bradley, Lindsey, Andrew, Cortney, Reed and Serena; and his great grandchildren, Knox, Elowyn, Wyatt and Adam.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Trondhjem Lutheran Church (87740 170th St, Austin, MN 55912).
