He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brown and Geraldine Brown; his parents-in-law, Clifford and Melba Bostrack; and his brother-in-law Mick Stethem.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughters, Emily and Sarah; his son-in-law Derik; his grandchildren, Zayne (Amanda), Shaye, Kayde and Elyse; his siblings, Terry Brown (Shelley), Jeff Brown (Kate), Cindy Groettum (Bob) and Julie Brown; his sisters-in-law, Carol Stethem and Jane Ryan; and his pet Oliver. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home - Austin (1801 4th St NW, Austin, MN 55912). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
He set up the proceeds of his contribution to a patent to be sent to Mayo's Parkinson research in memory of his dad, Chuck.
