Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Westrick of Fargo, ND and Gladys Westrick. He is survived by: his wife Sharlene K. Iverson of Austin, MN; his children, Jennifer Gorecki (Paul) of Whitefish Bay, WI and Ernest Westrick of Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings, Trudy Sieveking (Stan) of Gilbert, AZ and Jon Westrick (Robin) of Richville, MN; and his grandchildren, Tia Gorecki and Bella Gorecki of Whitefish Bay, WI. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Our Savior's Lutheran Church, The Parkinson's Foundation, or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research.
