With sadness, we share the passing of John Alan Watkins of Austin, Minnesota. John Alan, born on May 5, 1970, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jr. Watkins and Sharon Watkins (Besco); and his grandparents, John, Bernice Watkins, Ray and Gladys Besco.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jamie Watkins and Mitchell Weller; his uncle Owen Besco (Annette); his nephew Tristin Watkins; and his niece Alyssa Watkins. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home - Austin (1801 4th St NW, Austin, MN 55912). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be directed to Life Mower County, formerly known as ARC, or to Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, Carolyn House, in John's memory.
