It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Ray Locher of Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Locher and Regina Locher; his wife Virginia Irene Locher (Guiney); his sons, Christopher and Daniel Locher; his son-in-law Randy Foote; his siblings, Landol, Ray Locher, Carol Schaefer and Susan Bjornson; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Locher, Ray Bjornson, Bob Lukes and Duane Tollefson.
He is survived by: his children, John Locher (Holly) of New Market, Dana Foote of Grand Rapids, Becky Locher of Rochester, Michelle Mullenbach (Aaron) of Nevis, Heidi Anderson (Tom) of Austin and Sarah Locher (Don) of Adams, Minnesota; his daughter-in-law Cindy Locher of Olathe, Kansas; his sisters, Dorothy Lukes, Cathy Tollefson and Maureen Bibus (Mike); and his sister-in-law Linda Locher. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild that John was able to meet before his passing, along with many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
