He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Hilda Newman (Olsen); and his wife Marilyn. He is survived by: his children, Becky Rector (Gary) of Austin, Bill Newman (Joanne) of Blooming Prairie and Glenn Newman of Austin; his daughters-in-law, Deb Newman of Austin and Babs Newman of Austin; his grandchildren, Bobbi Jo (Jason), Wendi (Greg), Brandon (Lacey), Jackie, Jessica (Nick), Vanessa (Mark), Tiffany, Ashley, Jordan, Elizabeth (Stephen), Hayley (David) and Zach; his great grandchildren, Jacob (Katherine), Seth, Cale, Alijha, Naryk, Norah, Jayden, Alex, Lilly, Lyla, Jeremy, Jonathan, Emilee, Mickela, Michael, Avery, Sierra, Emma, Ely, Olivia, Marlow, Parker and Wesley; his great great grandchildren, Benjamin, Theodore, Jamison, Hazel, Bentley, Bobo, Louie, Asher, Josiah, Christopher and Elias; his children, Mary Thompson (Greg) and John Newman; his grandson Jayden Howe; and his siblings, Betty Ricketts, Maddie Miller (George), Gertie Nicolson (Charles), Dorothy Newman and William Newman (Ardis).
When his donation is complete, he will be reunited with the love of his life at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.
