We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2025, at the age of 90, Joseph Collins of Austin, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his fathers, Duane Collins and Michael Collins; his in-laws, Rose and Henry Brandt; and his siblings, Dick, Tom, Mary, Betty and Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Collins; his children, Becky Hansen (Tim) of Austin, MN and Bob Collins (Lori) of Apple Valley, MN; and his grandchildren, Justin, Ryan Hansen, Abby and Ally Collins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and one sister-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Congregational Church (1910 3rd Ave NW, Austin, MN 55912). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Austin Congregational Ucc Church (1910 3rd Ave NW, Austin, MN 55912).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Children's Home Society of MN – 1605 Eustis Street, St. Paul, MN 55108 or to the donor's choice.
