She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Barrows and Hazel Barrows (DeRaad); her son Kim Hammero; and her son-in-law Steve Blaser. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Hammero of Austin; her children, Marc Hammero (Pamela) of Austin, Penny Hammero (Ricky Schoenthaler) of Newport News, VA, Brenda Blaser of Austin and Jill Edstrom (Donald) of Mankato, MN; and her half-sister Linda Quinn (Mike) of Grand Rapids, MN.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (204 1st Ave NW, Austin, MN 55912).
