It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Schultz Jr. of Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard and Mary Schultz, Sr. (Musselman); and his brother Ed Schultz (Beth Fay). He is survived by: his wife Paula Schultz of Austin, MN; his children, Kathy Fritz (Tim) of Key West, FL, Bob Schultz (Debi) of Beardstown, IL, Jeff Schultz (Tammy) of Austin, MN and Scott Schultz (Meg) of Longview, TX; his grandchildren, TJ Fritz (Gabby), Merideth Fritz, Scott Knueven (Crystal), Brett Knueven (Rebecca), Melissa Blenker (Randy), Kaitlyn Dodson (Kyle), Sam Schultz (Rachel), Alex Schultz (Peyton), Paul Schultz (Alexa) and Ella Schultz; and his sisters, Gail Harmeyer (Fred) and Marg Rice (Keith). He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Elks Club #1007 (205 E 2nd St, Beardstown, IL 62618).
