It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Allen Kruger of Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Clayton Kruger (Nelson); his sisters, Marilyn Brazell and Sharon Kruger; his parents-in-law, Henry and Clarice Lightley; his sister-in-law Pat Johnson (David); and his nephew David Brazell.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Kay Lightley; his children, Peter Kruger (Lynn), Jon Kruger (Sara) and Tresa Meyer (Don); his grandchildren, Steven Kruger (Brenna), Alexander Kruger (Jillian Marchetti), Alyssa Kruger (Max DeNies), Riley Meyer (Montanna), Lane Meyer (Margaret Trombley), Brandon Kruger and Ryan Kruger; his sister Barbara Born; his brother-in-law Dean Lightley; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Stout (Brad), Ross Johnson (Mary), Wade Johnson (Grace), Tricia Brazell and Jesse Ohl (Lisa). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
