With sadness, we share the passing of Sharon Rae Watkins of Austin, Minnesota. Sharon, born on September 9, 1950, passed away on February 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Sharon for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Sharon’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Besco and Gladys Besco (Milks). She is survived by: her children, John Watkins, Jamie Watkins and Mitchell Weller; her grandchildren, Tristin Watkins and Alyssa Watkins; and her brother Owen Besco (Annette). She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home (1801 4th St NW, Austin, MN 55912). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be directed to Life Mower County, formerly known as ARC, or to Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, Carolyn House, in John's memory.
