He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur L. Ryther and Lois B. Ryther (Vasey); his sister Mary Guse; his nephew Scotty Phelps; and his brother-in-law Roger Kraft.
He is survived by: his son John William (Deanna); his wife Bonnie Ryther (Hertle); his daughter Michelle Sanders; his stepdaughters, Mandy Nelson and Jennifer Opsahl; and his sister Peggy Kraft. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home - Austin (1801 4th St NW, Austin, MN 55912). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
