It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Mary Jondal (Austin, Minnesota), who passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Scharberg and Norman Scharberg; her husband Harry; and her siblings, Robert, Mary and Pauline.
She is survived by: her sons, David of Austin, MN, John (Mary) of Sterling, AK, Steve (Ann) of Rushford, MN and Charlie (Jane) of Bozeman, MT; and her grandchildren, Dayna (Mark), Lea (Beth), Danielle (Allen), Katie (Greg), Grace, Olivia and Nobel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Olaf Lutheran Church (306 2nd St NW, Austin, MN 55912). A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
