It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Joseph Douvier of Avon, Minnesota, who passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Arthur had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Arthur may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Douvier and Margaret Douvier (Burg); his wife Marilyn Douvier (Pfannenstein); his daughter Michele Ostendorf; and his brother Virgil Douvier.
He is survived by: his son Mark Douvier (Laura) of Upsala; his son-in-law James Ostendorf of Little Falls; and his grandchildren, Margaux, Gabriel and Gracelynn.
A vigil service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home (300 Railroad Ave, Albany, MN 56307).
