He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Heurung and Veronica Heurung (Luckeroth); and his siblings, Red, Francis and Evelyn Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Marge of Avon; his children, Lynn Schiffler (Bryan) of Avon, Mark Heurung (Sue) of Orono and John Heurung (Leah) of Becker; his grandchildren, Nick (Darcy), Amy (Adam), Alli (Mitchell), Emily (Keil), Heidi, Tanner (Allison) and Blaine; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Wesley, Nora, Rykar, Emma, Valerie and soon to be baby Silvers; and his siblings, Erma Kuehn of St. Paul, Harvey Heurung (Sally) of New Brighton, Virginia Fritz of Maple Grove, Joan Kurilla (Steve) of Sartell and Robert Heurung (Jane) of Avon.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Benedicts Catholic Church (212 1st St SW, Avon, MN 56310). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
