He is survived by: his wife Donna Mae Poepping of Benedict's Catholic Church; his children, Janice Achmann (Leon), Mary Roering (Virgil), Karen Roering (Ralph), Steve Poepping (Mik) and Roxane Pundsack (Keith); his sister Carol Deters; and his siblings-in-law, Rosie Poepping, Bernice Poepping, Vera Lou Klaphake and Tom Illies. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
