She was predeceased by: her parents, Veikko Maki and Frances Maki. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Anderson; her daughters, Lori Akkanen, Dawn Marie Martin (Roy) and Holly DeJoode (Daniel); her grandchildren, Ben, Darren, Rachel Akkanen, Holly, Heather, Ashley Monk, Jordyn Faith, Tyler, Troy, Gavin Kontos, Kaija and Felix DeJoode; her sisters, Patsy Johnson (Reinhold), Ceil Nolley and Frances Stone (Bill); and her sister-in-law Elaine Maki. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church - Babbitt (15 Ash Blvd, Babbitt, MN 55706).
