It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Hoheisel of Babbitt, Minnesota, who passed away on April 5, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Bauer and Cecilia Bauer (Karash); her husband Clifford Hoheisel; and her siblings, David, Jack, Alan, Donald, Arnie, James Bauer and Patricia Kinzer (Bauer).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Preusser (Brian) of St. Cloud, Paul Hoheisel (Cathy Bissonette) of Babbitt, Patricia Butkowski (Brad) of St. Michael and Robert Hoheisel (Lynn Kegler) of Zimmerman. She is also survived by Eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
