He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrol Ahlfs and Rose Marie Ahlfs (Dolly); his in-laws, Tom and Steffi Strezishar; and his sister-in-law Cindy Strezishar.
He is survived by: his wife Veronica Ahlfs; his child Stefani Butler (Jehrad) of Green Bay, WI; his grandchildren, Logan and Mariana; his stepchildren, Easton, Reilly, Noah, Shanna Ahlfs of Green Bay, WI and Derek Ahlfs (Ashley) of Aurora, MN; his children, Darrol, Eugene, Sophie and David Ahlfs (Brandi); his grandson William; his daughter Susan Ahlfs; his brothers, John Ahlfs of Hopkins, MN and Peter Ahlfs (Leann Drews-Luhring) of Blaine, MN; his aunt Donna Karlinski; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Strezishar, Tom Strezishar (Michelle) and Terry Ostazeski (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Pius Catholic Church (15 Ash Blvd, Babbitt, MN 55706). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (15 Ash Blvd, Babbitt, MN 55706).
