It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale H. Thiesfeld of Backus, Minnesota, born in Glencoe, Minnesota, who passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Hillard Thiesfeld and Leatrice Thiesfeld (Flusemann); his stepfather Norman Schwich; his sister Sharon Thiesfeld; his parents-in-law, George and Margaret Weinzierl; and his brothers-in-law, George Weinzierl (Butchie), Donald Charland and Phillip Casperson.
He is survived by : his siblings-in-law, Shirley Meuwissen and Elizabeth (Betty); his wife Gloria Thiesfeld; his sons, Erik (Jill Thiesfeld), Nathan (Jeanne Thiesfeld) and Aaron (Jill Thiesfeld); his grandchildren, Mackenzie Thiesfeld (Cullen Hoffmann), Mitchell Thiesfeld (Aaliyah Bargmann), Noah Thiesfeld, Madelyn Thiesfeld (Jarad Newcomb), Natalie Thiesfeld, McKenna Thiesfeld, Taylor Thiesfeld, Teagan Thiesfeld and Talia Thiesfeld; and his siblings-in-law, Margie Shinehouse, Georgian, Bill Hilgers, Meri Casperson, Ron Weinzierl, Dorothy Weinzierl and Bernie Meuwissen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
