It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darrel L. Warne of Badger, Minnesota, who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen "Jack" Warne and Penelope Warne (Rogers); his siblings-in-law, Haze, Barb Beito and Norman Stenvik; his nephew Keith Stenvik; and also, George and Lillie Brotherston.
He is survived by: his sons, Dion (Laura) of Willmar, Stacey (Heidi) of Badger and Kent (Lori) of Newfolden; his grandchildren, Joshua (Becca), Samuel, Natalie, Keisha, Noah, Gabriel, Ava and Ty Warne; his siblings, Lorraine Stenvik of Goodridge, Lowell (Barb) of Erskine and Debbie Cox (Skip) of Menahga; his brother-in-law Robert Brotherston (Kim) of Security, CO.; his daughter Diane Hontvet; and his sister-in-law Jean Warne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (17027 Co Rd 3, Badger, MN 56714).
