He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Vorderbruggen and Francis Vorderbruggen; and his siblings, Carol Woldmoe and Jerry Vorderbruggen. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Aasen; his sister Beatrice Lange; his children, Benjamin Vorderbruggen (Kathy), Amy Ness (Kurt), Tara Erickson (Tony) and Tessa Schlosser (Aaron); and his grandchildren, Benjamin Vorderbruggen (Shauna), Holly Stock (Tim), Katie Mole (Chris), Dakota Ness, Ashley Nauertz (Isaac), Misty Dyrdahl, Alec, Dyrdahl, Aden Erickson (Callista), Logan Erickson and Greyson Schlosser. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bagley Irvin Blix American Legion Post #16 (112 Main Ave N, Bagley, MN 56621).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
