He is survived by: his children, Deborah King (Steven), David Aakre (Jennifer), Charles Aakre Jr., Colleen Duffy (Tod), Daniel Aakre (Brianna) and Denise Reimink. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
