He is survived by: his sister Becky Houge (David); his nieces, Sarah Stigen (Jeremy), Lucinda VerSteeg (James) and Bethany (John); his children, Sam Stigen (Alex), Elsa Stigen, Estee (Evie VerSteeg) and William (Jack Krafthefer); his close friend Lori Knutson; Kelby Baumann (Taydin Brown), Waylon, Jesse Worshek, Wade, Susan Knutson, Julie Bitzer (Garrett), Jon Knutson (Jeni), Brennan Olson, Brycen (Kylie), Oakley Olson, Kinlee Bitzer, Devon Knutson (Andrea Beuning), Bridget Lindell (Rob), Lily and Brady Brueland. He is also survived by numerous cousins and wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Clearwater County Food Shelf or Great River Rescue in Bemidji.
