He is survived by: his wife Minda Thompson of Bemidji, MN; his children, John Abne (Jordan) of Fayetteville, NC, JeanMari Thompson (Shea Sexton) of St. Paul, MN and Jenna Halberg (Lukas) of Columbia Heights, MN; his grandchildren, Kyan, Karson Stone-Thompson, John Logan Abne and Jameson Abne; his siblings, Mike Thompson of Bemidji, MN, Tim Thompson (Deb) of Bemidji, MN, Dan Thompson (Lori) of Bemidji, MN, Andy Thompson (LuAnn) of Bemidji, MN, Julie Larson (late Michael MaGaurn) of Cottage Grove, MN, Mary Maas (Jack) of Post Falls, ID and Chris Thompson of Bemidji, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Mila Abne of Siquijor and Jinaly Abne of Siquijor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
