She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Ronken and Agnes Ronken (Sewalson); her son Steven; her former husband Alvin Theis; and her siblings-in-law, Roger Hinshaw (Margaret) and Connie Ronken (Donovan).
She is survived by: her son Mark (Kristine); her husband Harvey Sorenson; her grandchildren, Kyle (Michele) and Shari; her great grandchild Leighn; her siblings, Beverly Ronken, Margaret Hinshaw (Robert), Donovan (Connie) and Lewy (Donna); and her friend Connie Riewer. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
