He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thompson and Marion Thompson (Warrey); his daughter Cheri Thompson; his granddaughter Zoie English; his father-in-law Leo Baker; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Baker and Bev Grandbois.
He is survived by: his wife Cecelia "Cookie" Thompson; his children, Lee Langei (Heather), Gina Radke and Megan Koeck (Zach); his son-in-law Steve Breker of West Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Raquel Puhr (Banyn), Mona Clemenson, James Styers III, Hunter Styers, Samuel Radke (Sierra Anderson), Jack Radke (Cassie) and Taylor Koeck; his great grandchildren, Brantley Puhr, Barlow Puhr, Rhys Puhr and Oakley Styers; his siblings-in-law, Marge Baker and Ron Baker (Cheryl); his niece Jessica Tucker; and his close friend Norm. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (11927 123rd Ave S, Sabin, MN 56580). A prayer will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
