He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Bernard and Mildred Bernard (Mireau); his daughter Teanna Bernard; his brothers, Nathanial "Tuffy" Aadland and David Mireau; and his wives, Darlene and Linda Duran.
He is survived by: his children, Leanna Bernard, Lolita Renville and Jay Renville; his grandchildren, DeSean Bernard-Antell (Rayanna), Mason Shepherd, Peyton Bernard, Blake Bernard, Drew Bernard and Jazmin Renville; his great grandchildren, Sabastian Shepherd and Aleena Noelle Renville; and his siblings, Randy Bernard, Helena Thompson (family: Leona Jones) and Gina Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
