She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wallenberg and Esther Wallenberg (Kuhnert). She is survived by: her husband Ralph Thoennes of Barnesville, MN; her children, Allan Thoennes (Valerie) of Apple Valley, MN, Lisa Smith (Gary Jr.) of Hopkins, MN and Lanette Benton (Greg) of Lone Tree, CO; her grandchildren, Amber Kaul (Philip), Jacob Thoennes, Keenan Benton, Carson Benton and Jack Smith; and her great grandchild Annie Kaul. She is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Assumption Catholic Church (307 Front St N, Barnesville, MN 56514). A prayer will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
