He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Peppel and Elsie Peppel (Weis); and his siblings, Mary Anderson and Richard. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Marie McDunn; his children, Kelly Peppel (Christy) and Wendy Peppel; his grandchildren, Alexander (Jordyn), Elizabeth and Kendra; his great grandchild Dakota; and his siblings, Elaine Tonsfeldt (Kent) and Chuck (Patti).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Assumption Catholic Church (307 Front St N, Barnesville, MN 56514). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Assumption Church "Renewing the Heart Restoration Fund" or Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
