He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sylvester and Helen Sylvester (Olsonoski); his wife Andrea; and his sister Marlene Peterson. He is survived by: his children, Cortney Sylvester (Carol) and Alex Ishaug (Bobby) of Barnesville, MN; his grandchildren, Tori Ishaug (Jason Sanchez) and Blake Ishaugr; and his sisters, Lois Davis of Michigan and Jeanette Lysefjord (Eileen Whitfield) of Idaho. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church (302 3rd St NE, Barnesville, MN 56514). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
