He was predeceased by: his father David Desing; his granddaughter Allyson Ishaug; his parent Mathilda "Tillie" Furst; his stepfather Leslie "Tudy" Furst; and his siblings, Vivian "Sis" Montplaisir (Leonard), Marlys Bernier (Swede), Tom and Gene Furst.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Desing of Barnesville, MN; his children, Chad Desing (Noreen Knutson) of Moorhead, MN, Mark Desing of Barnesville, Seth Desing (Julie) of Barnesville, Ann Ishaug (Bill) of Barnesville and Matthew Desing (Oscar Beltran) of Indianapolis, IN; his grandchildren, Travis Desing, Carrie Feigum (Jessie), Sarah Hellem (Nick) and Grant Ishaug (Dylan Putnam); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Chloe, Quinn Desing, Jonah, Seth, Henry and Benjamin Feigum; his brother Jerry Furst (Addie); and his sister-in-law Joan Furst. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
