He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his brothers, Norm (late Pat) and Dale (Renee); his children, Roxanne Henninger (Mike) and Jeff Bartz (Becky); his stepchildren, Michelle Olah (Steve), Ed Montgomery (Alethea), Katie Dagger and Jason Montgomery (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Misty Hagglund (Jesse), Trevor (Ashley), Spencer Bartz (Samantha), Kris Bartz, Kylie Hare (Robert), Gabriel Olah, Moriah, Tanner, Cade, Conner, Kaleb, Brayden Montgomery, Miles, Layne Hagglund, Kaydence Dyson, Issac, Elijah Bartz, Nixon, Mina Bartz, Lochlan, Milo, Phinease and Daphne Montogomery.
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (60 Hartman Dr, Moose Lake, MN 55767). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
