He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Getz and Lorna Getz; and his sisters, Mona Becker and Kathy Eilers. He is survived by: his sons, Derek Getz (Sara) of Norcross, MN, Lance Getz of Fargo, ND, Brandt Getz (Adam Martinez) of Phoenix, AZ and Gerrit Getz (Amber) of Barrett, MN.; his grandchildren, Mykenzie, Isaac, Kaleb, Ian, Braedon, Brooklyn and Kaley; his great grandchild Ledger; and his sister Irene Getz.
In lieu of flowers, and in honoring David's love of animals, the family asks for you to consider a memorial to your favorite Humane Society.
