It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Margaret Van Erp of Battle Lake, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 82, on June 23, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Guck and Helen Guck (Breuer); her brothers, Ron and Duane; and her in-laws, Ron Guck, Duane Guck, Cathy, Al Lachowitzer, Johanna Van Erp, Theodore and Marie Van Erp.
She is survived by: her husband Peter Van Erp; her children, Ted Van Erp (Becky) of Battle Lake, Tom Van Erp (Janelle) of Battle Lake, Theresa Ukkelberg (Ross) of Clitherall, Todd Van Erp (Nancy) of Cold Spring, Tammy Welsh (Scott) of Lewistown, Montana and Tonya Zierden (Dan) of Fergus Falls; her grandchildren, Samantha (Kris), Petric and Sara; her great grandchildren, Piper and Theo; her grandchildren, Eric, Evan, Andrew, Nick, Brady, Grace, Jacob, Alex, Tyler (Madison), Tony, Maya, Faith, Luke, Kate, Anna, Logan, Claire, Connor, Nathan, Jade, Cole, Shane and Brook; her sister Susan Vonderharr (Ed) of Madison; and her in-laws, Jan Guck of Pharr, Deian Guck of Hastings, Francis and Mary Ann Seifert (Van Erp) of Perham. She is also survived by her six children and their spouses, 25 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Bluffton Community Center (202 Center St, Bluffton, MN 56518). A prayer will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (310 Main St, Bluffton, MN 56518).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Lions Clubs Empowering Service Fund, or a service group of your choice.
