With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Dally (Baudette, Minnesota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on November 24, 2025 at the age of 69, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his grandson Connor James; his grandparents, Francis Lloyd, Iva Dally, Troy and Jessie Philpot; and his uncle Lyle Philpot.
He is survived by: his parents, Ronald Dally and Lola Dally; his sons, Dustin (Stephanie) and Matthew; the mother of his children Roxanne Rickman; and his siblings, Ron Dally (Wendy), LeaAnn Willems (Butch), Barb Roberson (Brad) and Dana DeMars. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts and numerous cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Helgeson Funeral Chapel (112 1st St SW, Baudette, MN 56623). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Jim's honor to the American Stroke Association, Hearts in Action Hospice, or Whitetail Unlimited.
