He was predeceased by : his wife Sharon Lynn Bitter; his parents, Martin Bitter and Laura Bitter; his brothers, Paul Bitter and Lowell Bitter; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Eckermann, Don (Joanne Akenberger), Ron (Peggy Akenberger), Louis Snyder and Ronald Walters.
He is survived by : his sons, Craig (Julie), Curt (Laurie) and Stephen (Sherri); his grandchildren, Chelsea Hintz (Mike), Courtney Baade (Nick), Lindsey Bitter, Alex Bitter (Katherine), Isaac Bitter (Emily) and Nick Bitter; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Liam, Logan Hintz, Bella, Gracie, Leniore, Nixon, Albanee, Gloria Baade, Winston, Charlotte and Owen Bitter; his siblings, Carol Eckermann and Ted Bitter (Sharon); and his sisters-in-law, Jean Snyder and Lois Walters-Ebka (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
