She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Chamberlin (O'Toole) and Harold Cecil Chamberlin; her stepmother Madeline Chamberlin (LaSart); and her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Nelson, Dorothy Jones, Florence Makousky and Harold Carl Chamberlin.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Petersen; and her siblings, Lawrence Chamberlin (Linda), Bernard Chamberlin (Patty), Earl Chamberlin (Barney), Martha Cloutier (John), Edward Chamberlin (late Dawn), Robert Chamberlin, Melissa Adair (late Randy) and Margaret Schrader (Thomas). She is also survived by her eight children, 15 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to organizations that support Alzheimer's or children and youth services.
