In the sacred silence of farewell, Richard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Richard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Boileau and Angeline Boileau; and his brother Gerald. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Ronda (Roger LaPointe), Rick and Renee (Chuck Monson); and his sisters, Darlene Strange (Tom) and Mary Gunderson (Pete). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services - Baxter (7348 Excelsior Rd, Baxter, MN 56425). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery (15550 Hwy 15, Little Falls, MN 56345).
